"I meet the requirements and I was disqualified to be a surrogate ?"

Meeting the requirements is essential to become a surrogate. However, meeting these requirements doesn't guarantee automatic qualification as a surrogate. As a Club dedicated to supporting surrogates, one of our primary objectives is to ensure our surrogates experience healthy pregnancies while receiving the necessary support. Therefore, to safeguard the well-being of women considering becoming surrogates, it's imperative that they are both physically and psychologically prepared to carry a child for others. To achieve this, we adhere to the criteria established by the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and fertility clinics.

Reasons for candidate disqualification may include:

- Not having the custody of your child : Beyond successful pregnancy, being responsible for your child(ren) and maintaining a stable family environment is crucial for surrogate candidacy.

- Smoking habits : We place a strong emphasis on the well-being of the baby you are carrying and discourage any actions that could potentially pose risks.

- Receiving government financial assistance : We do not want you to jeopardize your existing assistance by receiving additional compensation from a surrogacy.

- Unreliable transportation : Access to reliable transportation is essential for attending appointments at the fertility clinic.

And more.

Please note that these are just a few examples, and the full list of criteria is comprehensive to guarantee the best outcome for both you and the intended parents.
